[[en]]Over the past couple of weeks, six health panels were redesigned to better meet the needs of social workers worldwide. The older panels were designed in the early 2000s and didn’t suit the context many of our partners work in today anymore. Therefore, the Mobile School team and the educational volunteers set up a couple of meetings to give these panels a new look and feel. Afterwards, our illustrator Gijs Vanhee got to work and delivered a couple of new high-quality panels, ready for use. [[nl]]De voorbije weken werden zes van onze gezondheidspanelen herwerkt om beter tegemoet te komen aan de noden van jeugdwerkers wereldwijd. De vorige gezondheidspanelen werden ontwikkeld begin jaren 2000 en voldeden niet meer helemaal aan de context waarin veel van onze partners vandaag de dag werken. Daarom ging onze educatieve werkgroep en het Mobile School team aan de slag om deze panelen in een nieuw jasje te steken. Na enkele vergaderingen brainstormen, kon onze tekenaar Gijs Vanhee aan de slag om nieuwe kwaliteitsvolle panelen te tekenen. [[es]]En las últimas dos semanas se rediseñaron seis láminas de salud para responder mejor a las necesidades de los trabajadores sociales en el mundo entero. Las láminas anteriores habían sido diseñadas a principios de los años 2000 y ya no se adaptaban al contexto en el que muchos de nuestros socios trabajan hoy en día. Por eso, el equipo de Mobile School y los voluntarios educativos organizaron unas reuniones para dotar a estas láminas de un nuevo aspecto y tacto. A continuación, nuestro ilustrador Gijs Vanhee se puso a trabajar y entregó un par de nuevas láminas de alta calidad, listos para usar.
[[en]]As from today, the newly designed panels can be found on our StreetSmart Play platform, where youth workers can find a wide variety of educational activities they can conduct during their non-formal educational sessions with their target groups. In order to facilitate the launch of the new health panels, Mobile School organized a webinar for our local partner organisations so street educators were immediately updated about the new activities. Moreover, our partners were able to give additional feedback on the redesign, Mobile School can learn from for new redesign projects in the near future. Op dit platform kunnen jeugdwerkers wereldwijd een grote verzameling educatieve leerspelen en methodieken vinden om te gebruiken tijdens hun activiteiten met jongeren. Om de straathoekwerkers van onze partners te laten kennismaken met de nieuwe panelen, organiseerde Mobile School ook een webinar om de nieuwe materialen te lanceren. Tijdens deze online training, konden de partners ook hun feedback geven over de revisie, zodat we ook in de toekomst kunnen blijven investeren in nieuw, kwaliteitsvol educatief materiaal. [[es]]A partir de hoy, las láminas de nuevo diseño están disponibles en nuestra plataforma StreetSmart Play donde los trabajadores juveniles pueden encontrar una amplia variedad de actividades educativas que pueden llevar a cabo durante sus sesiones educativas no formales con sus grupos meta. Con el fin de facilitar el lanzamiento de las nuevas láminas de salud, Mobile School organizó un seminario web para nuestras organizaciones asociadas locales de modo que los educadores de la calle estuvieran inmediatamente actualizados sobre las nuevas actividades. Además, nuestros socios pudieron comentar el nuevo diseño de modo que Mobile School pueda tomarlo en cuenta de cara a los nuevos proyectos de rediseño en un futuro próximo.
