Tot dan kunnen leerlingen kijken of luisteren naar lessen die dagelijks uitgezonden worden via de televisie en de radio. Naast het feit dat niet iedereen via televisie en radio bereikt kan worden, valt alle interactie daardoor natuurlijk weg, dus leerlingen die vragen hebben, blijven daarmee zitten. Onze partner Yolia in Mexico moest noodgedwongen de mobiele school ook even aan de kant zetten maar bleef de kinderen, jongeren en families waarmee ze werken wel van nabij opvolgen, online en via de telefoon. Daarnaast werkte het team een interactief lessenpakket uit om schoolachterstand tegen te gaan.
