More about the toolkit

Supporting Ukrainian children and families affected by displacement
The war in Ukraine has forced millions of children and families to leave their homes and rebuild their lives in new environments across Europe.

Youth professionals, educators and volunteers often play an important role in supporting these children and families, but may not always have the tools or experience needed to respond in a child-friendly and supportive way.
The Ukraine Refugee Response toolkit was developed to help professionals strengthen communication, build trust and create safe learning and support environments for children on the move.

By combining practical language tools with accessible training, the toolkit aims to support inclusion, connection and well-being during times of uncertainty and transition.
